Tasting Notes: Barrell Single Barrel Bourbon Hokus Pokus Joy of Bourbon Ghost of Bob Ross Edition

Hokus Pokus recently got in a Barrell Single Barrel, complete with Bob Ross tater sticker. The Joy of Bourbon. Too funny. This already dropped in Prairieville and will be released in Alexandria tomorrow; I am not sure about Lake Charles. 10 years old, 109.92 proof.

Color: Nice medium amber. Swirl: Thin film with medium legs. Nose: Extremely rich in caramel with some vanilla notes. Palate: Tons of caramel, light vanilla, black pepper, that turns into candied dark fruits that follows on the finish. The finish on this is magnificent. Luscious mouthfeel. Has none of that Dickel funk despite being from Cascade Hollow.

Hokus did a great job with this pick. Really a delicious bourbon It’s a little pricey at $100, but it is $100 good.
