This is a growing list of whiskies that Robb Gibb, Mike Bonin, and Bradley Drell are compiling on an ongoing basis.  Any time one of us tries something new, we make an entry on the list. The ratings run A+-F, and are preceded by the initials of the Whiskey Jar writer who is rating the whiskey.  Sometimes we may leave little notes about certain whiskies.

The ratings scale is thus:

• A+  • This is a platonic form of whiskey. Truly Earth shattering.
• A   • Amazing. Buy as many as you can; this will surely disappear.
• A-  • Excellent. We really like this one a lot.
• B+ • Our favorite daily drinkers or something different that’s worth trying.
• B   • Nicely done but not a must have; or a decent daily drinker
• B-  • Pretty good but could be better
• C+  • Slightly above average; I’m not totally mad if this is all they have.
• C   • Very average, pass the Coke.
• C-  • I’d really rather be drinking something else.
• D+ • Man, I should have brought my own bottle to this shindig.
• D  • It would be better to use this to clean a lawnmower.
• D- • Pour this into infected wounds.
• F   • I’m Blind!!!
